As a Software Architect, you will work as part of an agile continuous delivery team and collaborate with designers and engineers to help deliver product capabilities and features to our groundbreaking cloud-based product Tehama

We are looking for someone who is passionate about SaaS, DevOps, moving fast, solving new problems and building awesome software. We have a product that serves thousands of customers in their daily job and we are looking at improving our solution while working on our longer term objective to move into multi-cloud. 

Who we are looking for

  • Leadership & proven track record in building large, Enterprise-Level SaaS solutions at scale, ideally in a scale-up Enterprise organization

  • You are not afraid to jump into the code and support the team towards product development

  • You’re a problem-solver, love to build complex technical solutions & thrive in a fast-past startup/scale-up environment 

  • Experience developing microservices and distributed systems using languages and frameworks like Java, Python or JavaScript (Node.js, React.js, Typescript), etc

  • Experience developing cloud-hosted applications with good exposure to production deployments on IaaS

  • You have built products used by a global audience, developed in the cloud

  • Experience driving analysis, design, and strategy of moving an existing codebase into a modern microservices architecture

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in enabling & empowering cross-functional teams internally/externally to drive business mandate forward

  • Bonus Point: Experience with Virtual Desktops, Windows and Linux OS

What you will be working on

  • Architecting solutions for customer problems. Creating architecture and design documents

  • Help us to retire technical debt while keep evolving our platform

  • Help us define our strategy for delivering Tehama into a multi-cloud setup

  • Designing and leading solution, scoping, estimation, and technical services 

  • You'll be working with development and product management teams to define user story acceptance criteria, break down complex stories into tasks, estimates, plan and then deliver

  • Hands-on into the codebase, helping the team delivering features

  • Interacting with architects, UX, and Ops and participating in architecture, design, and review meetings

  • Collaborating with cross-functional team members on all aspects of development and process
